About This Blog

Our Youth Garden is a part of Frank Raab Park, Address: 18349 Caldart Ave NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370

Phone:(360) 779-9898

Hours: Park hours are usually 8am - 8pm during the summer season.  Call the above phone number for other seasonal hours.

The Youth Garden (aka Children's Garden) is in the Southwest corner of the park, next to the Raab Park P-Patch, http://poulsbop-patch.blogspot.com/.  Both of these gardening areas are coordinated by the Master Gardeners of Kitsap County.

The goal of the Youth Garden is to give those with a passion for gardening a place to plant and care for vegetable and flower gardens from April - October.  The Master Gardeners that do this, work together and share their gardening knowledge and energy with each other.  During the summer months, the garden is also used to educate children from 2 - 14 years-old.  Organized activities are offered by Master Gardeners and members of the Poulsbo Garden club to encourage the children to enjoy and understand the importance of the world of plants.   Produce harvested from the garden is donated to Poulsbo Fishline Food Bank, http://www.nkfishline.org/.
